Privacy notice
Last updated 25 October 2026. This notice explains what personal information this website collects and how it's used.
Who we are
This website is run by GhostStudios, an independent games studio based in Doncaster, United Kingdom. You can contact us about privacy through our contact form.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
- Wishlist on this site: games you mark with "Wishlist" are saved only in your own browser. We never receive them.
How we use it
- To reply to your message. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries you send us.
- To send the launch news and development updates you signed up for. We rely on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Where it's stored
The website and its forms are hosted by Netlify, Inc., which stores form submissions on our behalf and may process them outside the UK under its standard data protection terms. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when pages load.
How long we keep it
- Messages: for up to 12 months after we've finished dealing with your enquiry.
- Newsletter email addresses: until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. To unsubscribe from launch news or make any request, use our contact form. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
